About Us
Monaco Street is a boutique private investment firm which focuses on opportunities in Private Equity and Real Estate. Through our global relationships, we identify investment opportunities, structure the transaction for maximum efficiency, raise the capital required and asset manage the investment to achieve superior returns. We are an independent sponsor and as such raise capital on a transaction-by-transaction basis. Our investors are accredited high-net-worth individuals, family offices and institutional partners. Our principals and partners possess a variety of financial, transactional and management skills to achieve our objectives. At Monaco Street the interests of our investors come first. In all cases, we invest with our investors and keep our interests closely aligned.
Real Estate
At Monaco Street we invest in both real estate development and income producing assets.
Monaco Street partners with real estate developers with strong local knowledge to invest in land and residential development. Investment is typically a co-investment with the real estate partner. Investments range from $2 million to $50 million. We expect to have capital back in two years with a minimum IRR of 12%. Investment vehicles include joint ventures, limited partnerships and corporations.
Monaco Street, depending on market cycles and location, invests in multi-family properties and medical office buildings with a view to provide cash flow yield to investors. Investment time frames range from five to 10 years with an expected yield of 6%+ and IRR of 12%.
Private Equity
At Monaco Street we look to invest in entrepreneurial companies with unique concepts. Investment can take the form of equity, preferred equity, debt and convertible debt. We invest directly or indirectly with capital partners. Where required we work closely with management to provide strategic advice. We continuously monitor the investment to ensure the company is meeting its targets and providing expected returns to our investors.

Financing
At Monaco Street we provide corporate finance consulting services for various real estate and development projects. With our financial partners we are able to assess the viability of existing financial strategies and recommend appropriate financial plans and associated corporate structuring to achieve these objectives. Our financial partners comprise of third party institutional and private contacts both offshore and onshore. Depending on the project, size and funding requirements capital would be accessed by means of a corporate bond issue, third party debt financing or raising of equity to meet the corporate objectives. Throughout the process Monaco Street will provide guidance to achieve a positive outcome for the project.
